# Second Irish Annual Doctoral Colloquium in Finance (IADCF)

 The Second Irish Annual Doctoral Colloquium in Finance (IADCF) is an academic event dedicated to supporting the development of PhD students in the field of finance. Organised by FinLAB at DCU Institute for Business and Society, Dublin City University, in collaboration with the Irish Academy of Finance (IAF), the colloquium offers a unique opportunity for doctoral researchers to present their work, receive high-quality academic feedback, and engage with a network of finance scholars from across Ireland.

 The colloquium provides a rigorous and inclusive platform for PhD students to share their research in progress. By participating, students can refine their ideas, explore different perspectives, and improve the quality and clarity of their research. This event is designed to promote meaningful dialogue between emerging researchers and experienced faculty, fostering both academic excellence and professional development.

 Through presentations, feedback sessions, and informal networking, the IADCF helps to cultivate a vibrant community of finance researchers. It also supports the creation of new academic connections across institutions, contributing to the overall advancement of finance scholarship in Ireland.

 We invite submissions of **full papers or extended abstracts** on topics including, but not limited to:

Corporate Finance

Asset Pricing

Banking

Sustainable Finance

Financial Technology (FinTech)

Financial Markets

### Eligibility

 PhD students currently in their **2nd to penultimate year** of study are encouraged to apply.

### Review Process

 All submissions will be subject to a **peer-review process** conducted by academic faculty. Authors of selected submissions will be invited to present their research at the colloquium and receive structured feedback in a supportive scholarly environment.

### Travel & Accommodation Support

 PhD students affiliated with **IAF member universities outside Dublin** will be eligible for **funded accommodation and travel support**, provided by the Irish Academy of Finance.
